it's about time people noticed.  Italian Vogue has done something ground breaking and allowed photographer Steven Meisel to produce a primarily black issue. Filled with images of beautiful black women such as Liya Kebede, Tyra Banks, Naomi Campbell, Iman and Jourdan Dunn just to name a few. Goes on sale in the US on July 1st. Make sure that you pick up your copy.
One question that was posed was, how long does it last... Does the magazine go on stands next month with a lack of color?

I'm not sure how I feel....

about these baby shoes from Heelarious. They are soft and the heels are crushable but something about them seems .... ummmmmm, well not right. What do you guys think?

Takashi Murakami at MOCA Los Angeles

If you live in Los Angeles or plan on visiting anytime soon, be sure to make your way over to the Museum of Contemporary Art.  Currently they are displaying beautiful works of art by Japanese artist Takashi Murakami.  If you aren't really aware of who Murakami is, he is the one who collaborated with Louis Vuitton to make those beautiful handbags with the cherry illustrations, as well as the multi- colore collection.

To top it off there is actually a Louis Vuitton store in the exhibit so that you can purchase merchandise.  How convenient... ;)
